A Place on Earth

I am writing from the beach! It feels so nice to say that. I am currently at the Jersey shore and I have been having a great time. The weather has been horrible to be honest, but even rain can't ruin my vacation! I'm just enjoying being out of my town and away from everyone and everything. Like my JOB to be specific! I come home early on Friday while my family stays the rest of the weekend because I have a Saturday morning class *cringe*, but all is well! I will survive!

Anyway, this post isn't about me! It's about a fabulous find that I just had to share with you all!

Since the weather has been bad, I had the chance to go shopping in the quaint town of Cape May. They don't have a lot of shopping there, but I always enjoy walking around and enjoying the sights. (And I also got a fabulous veggie lettuce burger at a place called "The Lemon Tree"!) I've been going to Cape May for a while now, and so I know the shops pretty well. I was extremely excited to go to a great bath shop called "A Place on Earth". It was my love before I met LUSH. It was my first bath shop experience and it will always hold a special place in my heart!

They have amazing products. Mostly everything they have is vegan (except 1 honey product) and they use plant life and vegetable based ingredients. How cool is that!? They have these really awesome colorful bath salts that you can scoop into glass jars and make designs with like you did when you were a kid and made sand art! Those are so much fun! But my favorite products by far are the bath bombs and the sugar scrubs. I used the oatmeal bath bomb yesterday which was a bright yellow thing. I was a little apprehensive about using it, but once I popped it in, it was heaven. It turned the bath a sort of lime green color and my skin felt so soft in the bath. It was absolutely amazing. I could've stayed in there forever! And just so you know, I have extremely sensitive skin and I am quite allergic to synthetic bubble baths, so anything that's not natural will make my skin go crazy, so these must be good! I bought two more, one in lavender and one in sex in the beach. I can't wait to use both of them when I get home. (Maybe another one tomorrow! ;-) )

Now on to my absolute FAVORITE product ever ever ever from A Place on Earth, and that is, their sugar scrubs!! They have a sugar scrub bar at their shop where you can pour at least 6 different types of their amazing scrub into a huge tub. I got lavender lemongrass and it is incredible. It made me skin feel so soft and supple. It's the best sugar scrub I've ever tried. (Dare I say even better than LUSH!?). It's a must try!

Now, I know what you're thinking, "I live no where close to Cape May! I can't get them!" Well, you would be right and you would be wrong! They have a website, http://www.aplaceonearth.com , but you can only get the salts and premade jars of the sugar scrubs among other things. For some reason, they do not sell the bath bombs. If anyone of you would like to try one, let me know and I can pick one up for you in the next few days. If you don't get back to me in the next few days though, you'll just have to wait until my next trip down here ;-)

I hope you're all having a great week and I'll talk to you soon!

Ciao for now!

Kay xx
